Narita Airport
I'm in Tokyo right now, just taking a moment in between flights. This trip is already interesting to me. It seems like I always get really nervous before travelling and spend months and months preparing to make sure everything is lined up. This is a new thing, a new experiment where I have all the important stuff squared away (medicine, insurance, shots, and so forth) but my itinerary is totally up in the air. The only thing that is for sure is that I'm leaving Hanoi in August. I'm actually much more relaxed (or sleep-deprived) than I have been in the past and that's satisfying.
I've been reading my Vietnam book on the plane to see what interesting things I could see. There's a section in there about Cambodia as well which, according to a friend, is not to be missed.
Not to much to report at this point, just bad movies, plane food, and very polite people. When I left the plane, about 12 different Japan Airlines Staff said goodbye and thank you. It was walking the gauntlet of saluation which was really nice.
